This is a replacement lock engine for the popular Southco Mobella McCoy swinging entry door latch. Sometimes referred to as the door's guts, this is the main functioning portion of the latch which simply slides into the edge of your boat's or yacht's door. Each lock engine comes with a privacy lock spring for the privacy knob on locking McCoys. It will work with passage (non-locking) doors as well, the spring will just not be used.
We offer the lock engines with either a standard single springbolt or a double springbolt that reduces closing force and resists vibration. All lock engines have a brass body and you can select whether you would like the screw plate and spring bolt to be stainless steel or brass. You will also need to select your door swing from the options area above. In the last picture you can see a diagram showing how to determine your door's swing. If you are replacing multiple lock engines on your vessel, be sure to check every door.
