Southco Microswitch Grabber Catch

Southco's microswitch grabber catch latches have an enclosed microswitch that opens and closes switch contacts with door or drawer operation. This latch is great for custom cabinets, or enclosures, to turn a light on when the door is opened. It offers all of the same features as the standard C3 latch such as preventing accidental opening or rattling while underway, and the simple surface mount installation.

There are three different pull-up forces offered. You can tell the force of your current latch based on the spring color, as illustrated in the pictures.

Safety Note: This product is specifically designed to be used as a mechanical grabber catch with an electric switch. The switch is designed to operate an indicator light or form part of a non-safety related logic circuit. This product is NOT designed for use as a safety interlock.
