Get the integrated look of a flush-mount latch, ease-of-use of a lift-and-turn latch, and waterproof sealing performance of a compression latch all in one! Southco's M1 compession latches are the most popular deck and hatch latches in the marine industry found on nearly every boat and yacht from smaller center consoles to large sportfish. It is also used on RVs and motorhomes, and works great for custom enclosures. The latch compresses when closed, and will provide IP-66/NEMA 4 watertight sealing. All of the components are corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel.
The M1 is offered in two different sizes, based off the size of the hole the latch installs in. The 2" latch fits a 2" hole and has a 2.41" face, while the 2.5" latch fits a 2.5" hole and has a 3" face. You will also need to select the door/panel thickness as well as the cam you would like from the options area above. The grip range table below shows the grip range that each cam provides. Included with each latch is a backing plate, screws, cam, flange gasket, and if applicable a pair of over-molded keys.
